Messy Quest Turns 1!
1 Nov
Some things never change no matter how much time you give them. I, for
instance, have always been clumsy. Just this week, in fact, I started off a
family vacation by reaching into my shaving kit and slicing a finger on an
exposed razor blade. The next day, attempting the highly dangerous task of transferring laundry from a washing machine into a dryer, I smashed my
forehead against a coin slot that, in my defense, extended about 12
feet from the dryer. For Halloween, it wasn’t hard for me to look scary.
So it’s always nice to measure progress in some area of my life on those
occasions when it’s actually evident — and the Messy Quest blog, which
turns 1 today, is one example of things changing for the better. Thanks to
your incredible support and feedback and encouraging words, writing this
blog continues to be a lot of fun — and hopefully a worthwhile investment of
your precious time. It’s offered a way to deepen relationships with old
friends and make many new ones as well. I hope you’ll continue to spread
the word about our Messy Quest community and stay plugged into the
conversation here. Your involvement is deeply appreciated.
